huhmm... is it really the government that's on a wrong side????

You know what it is? I believe the reason why we don't get out of this corruption because everybody's benefiting form it...

We are asking too much from the government, ... we are dependent on them too much... from medicine, food supply, infrastructure, education, trasportation etc...etc..

and if in thier very limited capacity they would say that it would be impossible for them to do it because its too involved and or too expensive to be shouldered, you know what's the reply of the Public??? OUST! NO RE-Elect, New leader!

We are looking at them as GOD! we asked but we don't want to be refused. They are just but men who are tasked by the Lord to lead the people.

Come to think of it... if the whole population would demand 1 peso a day from the government and they are not willing to pay taxes or at least improve their lives, plant trees or desire to be self sustaining, go back to their land and cultivate, innovate, improve, explore, invent... the government will collapse in no time!

We have so much land in the provinces which can sustain/produce food for a lot of people but since farming is hard and they want easy money they would insist themselves to be in the big city... but this big city is not as big as they thought. They would encounter so much hardships that the only way for survival is to force the governement (officials) to give what they demand.

so, since they don't want to be out from the office, they would do everything to please the constituents... then bribery/corruption is being experimented... then it would certainly work because of their borrowed power! When it is proven effective then they will ask for more... but this time not for the people but for themselves!

We created the spark... they burned the forest!

Keep this in mind... The Lord can establish a nation an uproot it overnight!

YOu want a good nation??? this is what the Lord said... "only if my people would HUMBLE themselves and PRAY and SEEK my face, and TURN from their wicked ways, THEN I will HEAR from heaven and FORGIVE their sin and will HEAL their LAND. (2chronicles 7:14)

My opinion is that we can never change the world but we can change ourselves. It is really our faults. Those educated derelicts in the government we cannot change. We can't teach old dogs new tricks.

What is the email of Harvey key? I love the subject of eradication, it is always in my heart. Dreams are my reality.

My insights on the article is that corruption is a sickness and all our problems can be traced back to corruption. 30 billion pesos goes to corruption every year.... imagine that and here I am trying to make my first million in a very honest way.

helping people through charitable work is great. It gives you an immediate HIGH when you are out there doing volunteer work and you see the fruits of your labor. in the case of gawad kalinga the houses that are being built are concrete evidence that the time and sweat that you put in becomes a home for a family.

but fighting corruption takes longer than building a house. it will take years and years of vigilantly guarding our country's best interest. it will not give you that immediate high of helping a family but in eradicating corruption we are helping not just thousands of families but the whole Filipino race. And that should be our ultimate high.

the question i want to ask now is CAN WE as the Filipino People BOYCOTT CORRUPTION?

what if ALL of the businessmen in the country just stopped giving in to corruption? what if ALL the drivers just stopped giving money to dirty cops?
what if??

corruption is bad for everyone! for students, businessmen, employees, everyone! what if the company you work for suddenly stops operations in the philippines because they felt corruption is eating away their profits... where will you work now? abroad?

running away wont solve the problem. we should take action lets start now! email harvey keh and lets work on eradicating corruption in the philippines.
